Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable and Construction Administration for the project and construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raise purchase orders, budget transfers, and scope variations as required.
- Process progress claims and invoices against contracts and registers.
- Process of retentions and monthly reconciliation.
- Liaise with vendors for new setups and credit applications, including reviewing terms and conditions with Project Manager and/or legal review.
- Assist with preparing construction budgets and entering them into software.
- Support the project team with monthly forecasting and monitor actual costs against budget.
- Assist the project team with preparation of tender documents, costing and other ad hoc tasks.
As an experienced Accounts Payable Officer, you will be based on site and working closely with the Project Manager and Contracts Administrator.
- General accounts and administrative experience.
- Proficiency with electronic banking and accounting systems.
- Adaptability and strong prioritisation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail.
